Patricia "Patty" Waters died unexpectedly in her home on March 22, 2019 in Rotterdam, NY. She was 66.

Patricia was born on September 29, 1952. She graduated from Schalmont HIgh School in 1970.

Patricia is survived by her stepfather, George (Julie) Petitt of Rotterdam, NY; her sister, Kelly (Chet) Pennachia of Guilderland, NY; her sons: Douglas (Kimberly) Bartling Jr. of Malta, NY and Cory Bartling of Schenectady, NY; her granddaughter, Ashley Wilson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Alice "Betty" Petitt, her father, William Waters Jr. and her sister Debra Waters.

Patricia loved spending time with Doug, Cory, and her "third son" Neil Smith. She enjoyed beautiful weather, going to church, clam boats at Jumpin' Jacks, and trips to the casino.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10am on April 1st at the First Reformed Church in Scotia, NY. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Patricia's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ellis Mental Health to help bring awareness of the severity of mental illness or Animal Protective Foundation, as Patty was a supporter of rescue animals.
