Penelope "Pennie" Katherine Crane, 65, of Ballston Spa NY, passed on Thursday July 18, 2013, at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs NY. Born February 16, 1948, at Yonkers NY, to Wilbur and Vera Snell Crane. She was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and retired from a long and fulfilling career in food service. Ever the entertainer, she also loved to travel, garden and indulge her cats. Survivors include her husband of eleven years, Robert Mason, stepdaughter Alecia Mason, daughter Samantha Spalti and grandson Hunter Hebner. The family would like to thank the staff of Wesley Health Care Center and Hospice of Saratoga for their attentive and compassionate care of Pennie during her last months. At her request there will be no services and in lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
