Obituary

MECHANICVILLE –
Peter P. Robyck, a devoted husband, amazing father, and positive spirit who would never complain no matter what curveballs life threw his way, passed away at home, surrounded by his immediate family, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born in Troy, NY, on August 24, 1951, Peter was the beloved son of Stephen Robyck and Olinda Mignacci. He was raised and lived his entire life in Mechanicville, NY, where he graduated from the Mechanicville Central School District.
Peter built a fulfilling career, first as an IT Specialist for the NYS Department of Labor, where he retired in 2004, and later as a sales associate at DiSiena Furniture. His smile was infectious and would light up any room the moment he entered.
On October 11, 1975, Peter married the love of his life, Anne (Vinett) Robyck, at St. Peter's Church in Stillwater, NY. They shared over 50 wonderful years together. Peter was a phenomenal father to their three sons: Brendon Robyck, Ryan Robyck, and Aaron Robyck (married to Kelly (Fisher) Robyck).
Peter is survived by his loving wife, children, and a brother, Frank Robyck (Ruth Robyck). He was predeceased by his mother, Olinda Mignacci Robyck, his father, Stephen Robyck, his brother, Stephen Robyck and his sister, Joann (Robyck) Hunter
Above all, Peter cherished spending time with his family and loved ones. He also enjoyed shopping for unbeatable deals and vacationing, making memories that his family will forever treasure. Peter will be best remembered for his consistently positive and upbeat outlook on life.
The family extends special thanks and acknowledgements to the staff at DCI Rubin Dialysis Center Inc. in Clifton Park, NY, New York Nephrology in Albany, NY, and the Stillwater Area Community Center Elder Care Transportation program for their compassionate care and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the PKD Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, or Community Hospice in his honor.
