Phyllis DeWitt Moore, 87 of Troy, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2011. Born in Albany, NY on May 19, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Harold K. and Gertrude Webster Comstock. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald F. Moore. She is survived by a son: Robert D. (Peg) Choppy of West Sand Lake; grandmother of Robert (Christine) Choppy of North Greenbush and Scott (Rita) Choppy of Tom Ball, TX; great grandmother of Bobby, Nick and Tanner Choppy. Phyllis lived in Rexford on the Mohawk River and later in Clifton Park before moving to Diamond Ridge in Troy. She was a local artist and enjoyed painting at every opportunity. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
