Castleton, NY- Rebecca Kay Raymond, 54, of Castleton, passed away peacefully at home Thurs., Sept. 17th, 2015 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her spirit is carried on in her loving husband Dan of 24 years, and her three sons; Matthew, Kristofer, & Nikolas. Born in New Hartford, NY she is pre-deceased by her parents George & Patricia Mosher and step-mother Marian Mosher, Survived by parents in-law Dan & Joyce Raymond, Sisters: Kathie(Ron), Sandie, Connie, Donna & Nancy: her brothers-in-law Aaron(Laurie) & Brian(Valeska); step siblings Kathy, John, Bob, & Marybeth and many loving nieces and nephews. Beckie graduated from New Hartford H.S. in 1979 and Johnson & Whales Univ. in 1982 with a degree & passion for culinary arts. As a co-owner of Zachary's Pastry Shoppe she loved using her creative talents and her kind spirit, which exemplified her passion for people. Beckie loved spending time with her family, watching them grow & always looked forward to trips to the ocean. She was active in the community and family & friends will always remember her infectious laugh and warm hugs as they cherish the memories they had with her. Please join the family in a celebration of Life reception at the Phillips Road Firehouse in East Greenbush NY, Sun. Sept. 20th from 1-5pm. In addition the family will receive friends from 9am – 9:45am before the Funeral Mass, held Mon. Sept. 21st at St. Mary's of Clinton Heights in Rensselaer, NY at 10am.
