Ricardo Brewster, 69 of 125 Delaware Avenue, Albany, died on Wednesday, March 28 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness. Born in Trindad, Ricardo came to the United States when he was 17 years old. Ricardo has been a musician all of his life playing the drums in two bands; "Mighty Sparrow" for approximately 5 years and most recently with "Robanic". He played in many venues around the Capital Diustrict as well as Saratoga Springs. He also worked for 20 years with the Salvation Army in Albany serving as a driver and custodian. Ricardo is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son and a host of relatives and friends including his caregiver for the past 2 years Ethel Pointer-Williams. A Homegoing Memorial will be held for Ricardo on Tuesday, April 3rd from 5 to 9 pm at 125 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12202. All are welcome to attend.
