Robert DeWitt Choppy

Robert D. Choppy, 83 passed away peacefully at his residence in Averill Park on September 3, 2026.

Born to the late Phyllis and Patrick J. Choppy. Bob was the beloved husband of Margaret "Peg" Choppy. 

He dedicated 33 years of his career to Southworth Caterpillar, where he worked as a Master Mechanic. Bob took great pride in his work in the many years he spent doing what he loved.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Peg and his 2 son's; Robert and Scott as well as his 3 grandson's, Tanner, Robert and Nicholas. He will be remembered for the life he shared with his family and the lasting memories he created throughout the years.
