MAXWELL, Robert H. (Bob), 89, of 1023 Madison Avenue, Troy, NY, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 31, 2018.
He was the son Robert G. Maxwell and Mildred Hinman Maxwell. Besides his parents, Bob was also pre-deceased by his wife, Doris King Maxwell, along with their firstborn infant, Kathy Ann, his brothers Kenneth (Dorothy) Maxwell and Jack (Peggy) Maxwell.
He was a devoted family man and enjoyed his New York Jets and Mets. He attended Troy Schools, leaving Troy High in 1950 to serve in the U.S. Army, being honorably discharged in 1952. He worked for 37 years at Norton Abrasives (formerly known as Behring Manning) located In Watervliet, NY, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his four loving daughters, Linda (Wayne) Rhodes, Bernice Maxwell, Judith (Edward) Lucey and Lisa Maxwell; his grandson, Robert E. Lucey. He is also survived by his two sisters, Anne (Theodore) Johnston of Brunswick, NY and Ruthy (Leonard) Duncan, also of Brunswick, NY, and sister-in-laws, Moira (Charles) King, Helen (William) King and many nieces and nephews.
He will be interred at St. Agnes Cemetery, alongside his beloved wife, Doris.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
