Obituary
SCOTIA –
Robert Zimolka, 79, of Scotia, passed away after a long illness on December 28, 2023 with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Zimolka was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and retired from the General Electric as an International Field Engineer.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Emma (Peggy) Zimolka and his brother Michael.
Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Karen (Smith), his children: Heather (Lou)
Battaglioli of Scotia, Sean of Burnt Hills, his precious grandchildren: Ashley and Luigi Battaglioli, and his sister-in-law Marilyn Zimolka of Florida.
A special thank you to his niece JoAnn Smith who gave tender loving care to her uncle throughout his illness. Per Robert's wishes there will be no services and cremation has taken place.
