It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Rowan Lopez, who departed this life on February 3, 2026, at the age of 1.

Born on January 21, 2025, Samuel brought an abundance of joy and light to all who knew him during his brief but meaningful time with us.

Affectionately known as "Ham Ham," Samuel was a vibrant and strong-willed child. He was characterized by his bubbly personality, curiosity, and a spirit that was remarkably advanced for his age. His days were filled with the simple joys of childhood: listening to music, playing with his siblings, and finding comfort snuggled close to his mother. He will be fondly remembered for his bright smile and his particular love for glazed donuts and Pop-Tarts.

Samuel is survived by his devoted parents, Kelvin Lopez and Shi’ann Whinnery. He leaves behind his beloved siblings: Sebastian Lopez (6), Scarlett Whinnery (4), Solia Lopez (3), and Sidonie Lopez (2), who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was a gift to his family and a friend to everyone he met. His presence will be deeply missed, though his happy and sassy spirit will never be forgotten.
