Schenectady, NY- Shannen Lea Damane, 46, of Schenectady, went home to her Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015, after battling illness. Cherished daughter of Diana Marie Romo Jimenez (and the late Manuel Romo), loving aunt to: Nathan Chad Alberson and Carlos Alberson Hinjosa, both of Schenectady, dearest sister of: John David Alberson of California, Stephanie Alberson of North Carolina, Georgeana Alberson of Colorado and Shawn Alberson of California. As a loving person, Shannen was naturally a consoler, which enabled her to become a home care nurse. She also raised her two nephews as her own. Shannen was a passionate writer, she often expressed her emotions, love and faith through her poems and journals. She was a devout Christian who loved her church and the Lord. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 10 a.m. at the Abounding Grace Christian Church, located at 3060 Hamburg St, Schenectady, NY 12303.
