Obituary

WYNANTSKILL –
Sharon Conway Farnam passed away September 18, 2025 surrounded by her family.
A beloved and caring wife, mom, grandma, rescue dog mom, social worker and Registered Nurse; Sharon spent her life in service to others. She was born and raised in Troy, NY and raised her family in Wynantskill, NY. Sharon graduated from Russell Sage college and worked for the Rensselaer County Department of Social Services. After her third child, she went back to school for Nursing and retired from the Saint Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany, NY.
Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Helen O'Brien and Daniel E. Conway, her two older brothers, Brian and Daniel, her older sister Maureen, and her granddaughter, Charlie. She is survived by her husband Kevin of 51 years, her daughter Erin, son Dylan and daughter Kathryn as well as three cherished granddaughters Emlyn, McKenzie and Olivia Maureen. Sharon touched the heart of all who knew her, and will be dearly missed.
Relatives and Friends are invited to gather and visit with Sharon's family on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc. & Riverview Funeral Home, located at: 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180. A Memorial Service will commence at 6 o'clock that same evening in the funeral home with Deacon Bob Sweeney officiating.
