PATTERSONVILLE –
Stephen D. Morgan, 73, of Pattersonville, NY, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Albany, NY.
Born on July 16, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Mervel and Ruth Morgan. Stephen was raised in Columbus, Ohio and later relocated to New York and has resided in Schenectady and Pattersonville.
Mr. Morgan was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1970-1971 and received an honorable discharge for his service.
His career was in the telecommunications field as an electrical engineer. At the time of Stephen's retirement he was employed by AT&T (formerly Bell Laboratories) in Columbus, Ohio.
Survivors include two children: Stephen Morgan (Jessica) and Jamie Gulley (Thomas). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Bradley, Alex, Caleb and Declan.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his wife, Holly Gates-Morgan.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
