SCHENECTADY – Steven Michael Fitzgerald, Sr., 68, of Schenectady, entered into rest on February 11, 2023. The son of the late Peter Wallace Fitzgerald, Sr. and Peggy Fitzgerald, Steven was born on August 12, 1954, in Saratoga Springs, New York. He attended local schools. Steven was a lifelong mechanic since he was a kid. He was employed as a mechanic with Eagle Crest Golf, Inc. in Clifton Park for 35 years up until his illness. Steven will be warmly remembered by his friends and family as a caring, giving man, described as a gentle giant. He was an all-around great guy who enjoyed camping and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his life partner of 35 years, Lisa Mae Brassard, his three children: Brett, Joey and Steven, Jr., as well as one granddaughter, Jasmine, 22 surviving siblings and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In accordance with his wishes, Steven will be cremated through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
