COHOES- Susan M. Cozzolino, 73, of Cohoes, formerly of Watervliet, died April 14, 2021. Born on October 13, 1947 in Troy to the late Kenneth and Mary Austin. Susan was raised in Watervliet as a child and lived in Troy in early adulthood and marriage. While growing her family, the Cozzolino's moved to their final residence in Cohoes. Susan Graduated High School from Watervliet Jr/Sr High in 1965. She was employed with the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles and later took time to raise a family. Susan was also employed at Reggie's Tavern after her husband passed. She was the owner and operator of Cozzolino's Tavern and also worked for the IRS, and the NYS Department of Corrections until retirement. Susan was a very loving and giving person. Loved to entertain family and friends, particularly before her husband's passing. Susan was described as a mentor and a resilient woman. She enjoyed decorating and cooking meals for holidays, always maintaining a welcoming home. Survivors include her children; Monica Cozzolino and Michael Cozzolino (Kelly Rysedorph). Besides her parents, Susan was predeceased by her husband Joseph Cozzolino and her brother David Austin.
