Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH –
Susan Fuss passed away on August 15, 2024.
The daughter of the late Elaine (Czarnecki) and Anthony "Tony" Fuss, she attended St. John's Academy and Mercy High School. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from Mercyhurst University and pursued graduate work towards an MBA at the College of St. Rose.
Susan worked in marketing, training, and computer consulting for General Electric and several NY State agencies. In addition, she ran a successful tax preparation business for over ten years. A lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Susan served as a national delegate, camp counselor, assistant leader, and master trainer for the local council. Her hobbies included fiber arts and award-winning photography, as well as international post carding through Postcrossing.
She is survived by her goddaughter, Nikki Walker.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 o'clock on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Sisters of Mercy Mother House Chapel, 634 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.
Interment will be with Eternal Reefs of Sarasota, FL.
