Suzette Yvonne Bartelle

Suzette Y. Bartelle 77 of Amsterdam passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 4, 2026.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Martha and John Putnam, her brother John L D Putnam and her niece Michelle A Taylor. Suzette leaves behind 5 sisters and 2 brothers: Patricia Dashnaw of Lynchburg, MO; Joanne Callahan of Schenectady, NY; Penelope Crowley (Edward) of TN; Carletta Taylor (Richard) of Schenectady, NY; Lynette Bates of Amsterdam, NY; Richard Putnam of Rotterdam, NY and Thomas Zigan of El Reno, OK and many nieces and nephews.

She was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, loved wolves, singing and listening to country music with family and friends she was close to.  A very special thank you to her longtime friend, Chrissy Smith, for caring for her.
