Glenmont, NY- Twilla E. Jackson, 99, of Glenmont, passed away unexpectedly, just a few weeks shy of what would have been her 100th birthday. She was born in Oberlin, OH on October 27, 1915, a daughter of the late Fred D. and Willa (Nichols) Russell. She leaves to cherish her memory, her dearest nephew and caretaker, Wendell P. Russell, Jr. and his wife Cyrisse of Glenmont, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 noon until 2pm on Tuesday, October 6th at the Riveriew Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2pm that same afternoon. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
