TROY- William H. O'Brien, Jr., 63, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Peter's Hospital following a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Troy. William was born in Troy on December 3, 1957, the son of the late William H. Sr. and Rae E. Miller O'Brien. William was a member of the Elks and the Emerald Athletic Clubs, as well as United Steel workers of America. He is survived by his son, William H. "J.R." O'Brien III (Kate) of Poestenkill and two grandchildren Allyson Rae O'Brien and Jackson W. O'Brien both of Poestenkill. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 11am-1pm on Friday, September 24th at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, where a funeral service will take place at 1 o'clock in the funeral home.
